The class fee is charged to the pregnant mom and she can bring her chosen birthing companion – such as spouse, partner or other birthing companion of her choice. Price includes all materials (handouts, textbook and CD/ digital download). If you have no partner, that’s OK! Classes are inclusive and LGBTQ welcoming. Private classes are available and are taught in your home and arranged around your schedule. Classes via Skype are also available if you live in an area that doesn’t have access to a HypnoBirthing class. Inquire for pricing for private and Skype classes.
The HypnoBirthing® program is 5 classes in total. Classes are once a week and each class is 2 1/2 hours with a 5-10 minute break. Each class will be limited to up to 4 couples. A minimum of 2 couples is required to run a class. Class cancellation policy: (In the very rare instance) Where fewer than 2 couples have signed up for a class, the class may be cancelled but a replacement HB practitioner/ class will be provided to those who had signed up. I do my best to ensure that mothers wanting to learn HypnoBirthing WILL get the opportunity!
To ensure completion of the full program, classes should be started before week 32 of your pregnancy or 7 weeks before your estimated due date. There are no refunds for missed classes (please refer to the Missed Class policy below)

Deposit, Refund, Registration Cancellations and Missed Class policies:
Deposit: To complete your registration and secure your spot in a class, a $200 deposit is required (payable by cheque, cash or e-mail transfer). Once the deposit has been paid, you will have access to pick-up the text book and CD/ download code. *Deposits are non-refundable except in the situation where the cancelling registrant can find another registrant to replace her spot in the same class OR another mother/ couple from the wait list for the same class can replace your spot. In the very rare instance where the class is cancelled by me, the instructor, you will be refunded your deposit. If you have paid the deposit and picked-up the class materials, any refunds issued are less $50 (the cost of the materials).
Refund policy: Once you register for a class, your spot is valuable. The classes tend to fill up and often there is a wait list. There are no refunds once payment is collected and the classes have started.
Registration cancellations: In consideration of the small class size, for the mothers/ couples on the wait list and for the instructor, please inform me as soon as possible if you need to cancel your registration. This is will also give you a better chance that another couple will be able to take your spot, in which case you will receive your deposit back.
Missed class/ make-up class policy: To ensure that you learn and practice all the HypnoBirthing techniques arrangements may be made for missed classes. This is dependent on schedule and space availability. There are no refunds given for missed classes.
More Helpful Information:
Practice, practice, practice! : The HypnoBirthing® program will provide you with all the materials, information, instruction and in-class practice you need to achieve your gentle and comfortable birth. However, home practice of the techniques and exercises taught within the HypnoBirthing program is very important to prepare your mind and body and increase your confidence in your body and your own abilities.
EeVon is a doula and on-call for her clients. In the situation where she is called to a birth and cannot teach the scheduled class, the class is postponed. Participants will be notified as soon as possible of any postponement. Postponed classes are usually moved to the next week or arranged at a time when the majority of the participants can attend. Every effort is made to ensure that participants can receive the program content in full.
Class cancellation policy: A minimum of 2 couples is required to run a class. If fewer than 2 couples have signed up for a class, the class may be cancelled but a replacement HB practitioner/ class will be provided to those who had signed up.
